A great green drink recipe

I thought it’s about time I share some of my favorite green drink recipes, so without any further ado, here’s one of the best I have!

What’s great about this one is that it’s so simple and easy to make. You can easily freeze it too, so you can make up a big batch and save them for the following week if you’re too busy to make these every day!

Ingredients
1½ cups water
1 head organic romaine lettuce, chopped
½ head of large bunch or ¾ of small bunch organic spinach
3–4 stalks organic celery
1 organic apple, cored and chopped
1 organic pear, cored and chopped
1 organic banana
Juice of ½ organic lemon

How To Make

All you need to do is add the mixture to a blender (use a blender, not a juicer, so you can preserve the fiber which is feeling and good for you!) You need to start the blender slowly at first and add each item individually.

Welcome To Green Drink Glory!

Hey guy, and welcome to my blog! I’m creating this blog to share my thoughts, opinions, recipes, and general experience with green drinks!

So what exactly is a green drink? Well basically it can be many things. But the way I look at it, a green drink is any kind of healthy, nutritious drink that usually consists of healthy green vegetables, along with a few fruits to sweeten it up and make the whole thing more tasty.

Most of the the time you’ll use a blender to mix everything together until it becomes a sort of milkshake consistency. Now if you’ve never tried anything like this before it may sound disgusting! But I promise it’s actually very tasty and it makes you feel great!

I got my first taste of these recipes after reading The Healthy Green Drink Diet, which I followed for awhile but sort of lost interest with. That was until I was reading purerita’s review of the glowing lean system (which I recommend reading because she gives you the jist of what it contains).

The system was created by Kimberly Snyder, who I’ve long been a fan of – and then everything seemed to fall into place – largely because she focuses on just one, core green drink recipe which is really very delicious and makes you feel great! I mean, that’s not all there is too it, but it is a core piece of the puzzle, and one that I very much enjoy! 🙂

So I decided to setup this blog to share some of my experiences with this drink, the highs, the lows, and why I think it’s such a great addition to a healthy lifestyle if you can consistently get into the habit of having one of these drinks each and every day.

Anyway, if you’re still reading, thanks for staying with me and I hope to see you around! Thanks!
